a very special day for our family

On Sunday, May 10th 2009, Caleb was baptized at Stony Hill Baptist Church. Caleb came to me and announced that he was ready to be baptized. We were overjoyed. Last year he prayed with Ted to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior, but he wasn't ready to wade in the water. Before he talked with Pastor Dew, he told me that it would be so special if he could be baptized on "my" day (Mother's Day). After speaking with Pastor Dew, he was told that he could indeed be baptized on Mother's Day. Caleb was beside himself with excitement! God is so good to us. He answer even the prayers of his small children. God continues to answer our prayer for Caleb. He has come to salvation at an early age and it is his heartfelt desire to serve God all the days of his life. I can not wait to see how God will use Caleb to further His kingdom. Caleb has a love for God's word and has been blessed with a memory to keep the scriptures in his heart. He said he felt like an angel while wearing his white robe. It was an extra special day, because Caleb got to be baptized with his fellow Spark, Jennifer. I had the great joy to be able to pray with her after a service at the nursing home. She has been a bright light at Wednesday night Awana. She always had a smile on her face. Enjoy the video of this blessed sacrament, that has been given to the church.
