If you have known Ted for any length of time, you know of his love for the Puritan writers-especially Jonathan Edwards. A few years ago, Ted came upon drawings of a desk that Jonathan Edwards owned. It was octagonal in shape, with slanted work surfaces that could be rotated depending upon his project of the day. Ted dreamed of having a desk that would accommodate his needs. The Lord brought a Christian crafts man into our path. After hours of planning, Wayne went off to the workshop to bring the plans to life. The results were beautiful. Ted has a functional work of art to perform his research. He has to wait until Saturday to load it up. The best part of the desk, is the verse from Nahum. God has truly blessed Ted with this wonderful early birthday present.
